Cody Davis – Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Cody Davis serves as Chief Executive Officer of GeoComp Energy, LLC. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, GeoComp was founded in 1998, and acquired by Mr. Davis in 2014.
The current goals and objectives of GeoComp and Mr. Davis are to drill, complete, and produce vertical oil and gas wells primarily in the states of Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. Davis envisions GeoComp Energy, LLC becoming a major producer of crude oil and natural gas in the United States.
Mr. Davis was raised in the oil and gas producing region around Elk City, Oklahoma. A third generation oilman, Mr. Davis has fond memories of accompanying his grandfathers to Oklahoma well sights as a youngster. His love for the oilfield industry was generated through family influence, and resulted in Davis becoming an oil and gas executive approximately one decade ago. During that time, Mr. Davis has been instrumental in developing successful exploration companies responsible for drilling, completing, and producing oil and natural gas wells.
Mr. Davis currently resides in Austin, Texas. His outside activities include involvement with The Vistage Group, a CEO based mentoring and personal development organization, golfing, boating, and hunting.
Mike Wallen – Chief Operating Officer
Mike Wallen, Chief Operating Officer of GeoComp Energy, is responsible for defining and executing the company’s partner acquisition and growth strategy along with the management of day-to-day business operations.
Prior to joining GeoComp Energy, he was Division President of Invenio Solutions (formerly The Lead Dogs), an outsourcer of sales services, where he ran sales operations for multiple Fortune 1000 companies. In his most recent year at Invenio he drove in excess of $1 billion in revenue for his clients.
From April 1994 to October 2010 Wallen served as Chief Executive Officer of The Lead Dogs, a company he founded, prior to its merge with Invenio. Wallen, born and raised in Austin, Texas currently resides in Dripping Springs with his wife Shannon. A true Texan, Wallen is a lifetime University of Texas at Austin Longhorn fan, avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoor enthusiast.
Kurt Rottmann – Consulting Geologist
Kurt Rottmann brings over 40 years of experience in the Oklahoma petroleum industry to the GeoComp Energy team. Previously principal of GeoComp Data Services, Kurt serves as an advisor to GeoComp Energy’s Board of Directors and is the Consulting Geologist for GeoComp’s technical team.
Rottmann has conducted prospect oriented regional studies for such formations as the Mississippian and Hunton, Simpson, and Cherokee Groups of Oklahoma. He has also written and contributed to numerous publications, as well as consulted for the Oklahoma Geological Survey for matters regarding perspectives of reservoir engineering and considerations of waterflooding.
Kurt Rottmann’s prominent reputation and extensive experience are essential to the foundation of GeoComp Energy and its rigorous due-diligence process. He and his wife Reeba currently reside in Bethany, Oklahoma.
